Nate and Erin have been living in Fort Collins, Colorado since June 2009.  They received a clear call from God to plant churches in Fort Collins in December of 2008.  


Nate - Born in Florida, lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas before returning to live in Colorado.  He graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a bachelors in Spanish Ed.  His parents were missionaries in Mexico where he learned Spanish.  He graduated with a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a concentration in Church Planting.  He loves hunting, fishing, camping, and sports.


Erin- Born in Colorado, moved to Texas to attend and graduate from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelors in Psychology.  She attended classes and received her teaching certificate in Special Education.  She then taught Special Ed in Grand Prairie, Texas for five years moving from a  classroom teacher to team leader.  She resigned her teaching position to be a full time mom and help with the church planting.  Her hobbies are photography, scrapbooking, and shopping.  She also loves being outdoors amidst God's creation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Alan and his wife Ashley have been married for 15 years and have two kids:  Sydney and Carson.  These two met at college in 1992 and quickly became friends.  Alan enjoys outdoor activities, sporting events, and lots of reading.  Ashley loves the performing arts, hot chocolate and a good novel.  They both share a passion for people and a love for the world.  They have lived in South Korea, Toronto, Texas, and Colorado.  They believe God has called them to make Fort Collins their permanent home.  Alan has worn many ministerial hats over the years including:  youth, college, associate and lead pastor.  He has earned a BA in Marketing and later a MDIV at Southwestern Seminary.

 

 

 
Fort Collins Community Church is a fairly common name but it has a very uncommon focus.  The Suttons have spend the later half of 2010 moving to Ft. Collins and brining in their church planting team, having 2 other couples joint them.  Their focus area is a place called "Old Town" in the northern area of Ft. Collins.  There are a lot of 20/30 somethings who have located there following college and the Suttons, with the two couples who have joined them, are a perfect match for that area.  David and his team have already built significant relationships with shop owners.  They began meeting for worship in a photography gallery in April 2011.

Angus plans to move to the Loveland area in July 2011.  He has served in a wide variety of full-time vocational ministry positions over the last 24 years and brings a strong calling coupled with depth and breadth of ministry experience to the church planting endeavor.  Angus is excited about the opportunity to build God's Kingdom and firmly believes that God has called him to start this new church.

Angus completed a PhD in evangelism from Southwestern Baptist Seminary in 1999.  He has been involved in various overseas mission trips and has developed extensive discipleship and small group ministries in his last staff position.  June of 2011, Angus completed a one year church planting residency with Pinelake Church.  He is coming to Colorado with a strong partnership with Pinelake and the Launch Network along with previous churches he has served in.  His life mission is to "Know, Love, and Obey God and to Raise Up Multiplying Disciples."
